Serology

This service is provided as part of Laboratory Services and no separate facility is available.

Laboratory Services
Department of laboratory services is equipped with state-of-the-art automated facilities including haematology analyser, coagulometer, ESR Analyser, semiautomated urine analyser, clinical biochemistry analyser, immunoassay system and binocular microscopes. Calibration of equipment done on yearly basis and preventive maintenance as per manufacturer instructions. A comprehensive panel of rapid diagnostic kits for serology are also available in Serology tests. Gynac Cytology services are also available. The External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) is being followed in all three major divisions of the department with Haematology laboratory is enrolled with AIIMS-ISHTM, New Dehli, Biochemistry and immunoassays with CMC, Vellore. EQAS is followed for Serology and clinical pathology with RML Lucknow.
