ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Pulmonary Medicine department provides an active diagnostic and therapeutic service to the hospital that covers the entire spectrum of respiratory disorders. In addition to contributing to evaluation and management of in-patients and ICU patients, speciality OPD services are also conducted. The department provides all the necessary care needed for the local population in terms of all types of pulmonary cases.

Common diseases treated by the pulmonologist in this department include, but not limited to, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), emphysema, interstitial and occupational lung diseases, complex lung and pleural infections including tuberculosis, pulmonary hypertension, and bronchiectasis.

Additional Services Offered:

  • Assessment for domiciliary non-invasive ventilatory support
  • Assessment for domiciliary long term oxygenation therapy
  • Complete pulmonary (lung) function testing

  • 1. Login into CPGRAM
  • 2. In section "Grievance Detail" select "Others/Not Listed/Not Known"
  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
